May 2006 Seligenstadt, Germany, May. 18th - Bowline GmbH & Co. KG announces a cooperation with Billion Electric Co., Ltd ., a leading manufacturer of high-performance quality xDSL modem/routers and networking devices for home, SOHO and SMB users. Interoperability tests of the DSL Forum CPE WAN Management protocol, also known as TR-069, have been conducted successfully.
The compatibility testing of the DSL Forum's TR-069 specification ensures that service providers can configure, activate, and manage equipment such as Billion's xDSL CPE (Customer Premise Equipment) easily using software solutions such as Bowline’s DragomanACS. With DragomanACS service providers are now able to control the costs of deployment and support of their CPE device effectively. Moreover, they can manage data, voice, and entertainment services, which is also referred to as triple play service delivery.
