DragomanACS is a provisioning solution for broadband internet service providers implementing the TR-069 standard which enables customers of providers to have their DSL routers configured automatically to their personal settings, without any technical knowledge. This auto-configuration will simplify the setup of your end users' DSL routers to keep the number of hotline calls low and customer satisfaction high.

It was designed to meet the complex needs of triple-play providers who offer DSL, VoIP and digital content out of one hand.

Providers may either make use of our zero-touch activation service to outsource this function or implement DragomanACS as a full blown ACS solution.

A provider of broadband services may have 100 thousands or millions of customers. Each customer requires a CPEs (customer premises equipment) such as a broadband router or set- top box. CPEs are located and owned by the customer.

Some customers are techies who love to play with complex new hardware. Most potential broadband customers will be overwhelmed by the increasing complexity of CPEs. Making triple-play ready for prime time involves having a solution at hand for exactly this customer group.

Ideally DSL and VoIP should be plug and play. A new customer opens the card box, plugs the CPE into the DSL jack, connects phone line and computer to the CPE and then after an initial update with an ACS (auto configuration server) has both broadband and internet service.

TR-069 is a well accepted standard to provision remote CPEs from a centralized ACS. Dragoman ACS implements the ACS and SCM (service configuration manager) function as specified by TR-069. It can also be configured or customized to handle older network elements that do not yet support TR-069.

DragomanACS will maintain the CPEs and synchronize them with a CRM database. This allows for fast deployment of software updates or value added services.

Based on a smart architecture and latest software engineering technology DragomanACS allows for a rapid deployment and helps to reduce the customization aspect to a minimum. With its graphical user interfaces it is easy to use, easy to deploy and easy to maintain.

DragomanACS is more than just automated provisioning. It allows for a high level of configurability. Operators are empowered to configure the whole provisioning logic by themselves. This enables the operator to deploy new CPEs, new services or software upgrades very fast. Moreover, DragomanACS comes with a GUI for statistics and monitoring purposes.

DragomanACS can be deployed as a web service using a J2EE application server such as JBoss or Tomcat. The product is standards based and integrates with other web services. Through the SOAP protocol clients can issue provisioning requests to DragomanACS. Operators are not locked in to a single vendor or a single technology.
